Following what can only be described as the most extraordinary off season ever, the promotion team of Hessions Auto Parts Grafton Speedway is doing their utmost to press ahead with the 2020-21 season.
Recently releasing their full calendar for the upcoming season, Grafton Speedway is going to kick off their season opening race meeting on the Saturday night of October 3 with potentially no crowds.
Grafton Speedway promoter Mick Corbett is committed to doing whatever it takes to safely run the 2020-21 season.
“It’s a tough time for everyone at the moment, but I’m planning to get the racing back to Grafton Speedway,” he stated.
“There are currently numerous restrictions in place, so we have to abide by that in order to safely run our race meetings.
“Speedway is a very enjoyable form of entertainment and I can’t wait to see the cars get back out on the race track and eventually have the race fans sitting in the stands.”
With the 2020-21 season calendar released, it is obviously a tentative schedule that could change numerous times throughout the season, whether that is with race dates or the classes competing on any given night.
